Dot Young is a Scottish artist. 

Her sculptural work explores the fragility of natural forms within an increasingly threatened global environment.

Her work questions notions of permanence and ephemerality, our relationship with the planet and the demands and impact of the Anthropocene. 

She has a passion for promoting art in community settings, working alongside underrepresented, and marginalised communities both in the UK and internationally.
